Homeschooling was once thought of as crazy concept but now is growing in popularity transforming into a normal occurrence. This is not surprising due to the increasing performance levels most homeschooled students experience in college and throughout life. Homeschooling teaches several life skills for a child from a very early age such as management of time and working according to a schedule. It also provides a flexible schedule which allows for beneficial life experiences for students such as getting a job. It also allows students to work at their own pace, therefore making the best use of their time. Allowing homeschooled kids to be better prepared to enter college then their public schooled peers, allowing room for more success.

Where as in school there is one teacher and 20 students whom they teach about in one hour.
One other advantage of homeschooling over the public school is most children would be able to learn better at home because they are able to learn at their own pace while, in public schools, they have to learn at the pace set by teachers, which may be too fast or too slow for different students. Within that, at home, the child is able to have more "hand on" activities and be more in touch with nature and the outside world. Compared to public schooling where education is free, home school education can be very expensive, for home school parents will be required to get all the required and necessary materials that would be needed for their child’s education. Examples are school supplies, as well as the materials and equipment that the parent need for teaching. A parent who wants their child to be under his or her supervision while home schooling should train themselves and should also acquire certification which is indirectly an additional cost to home schooling. Or parent can hire a private tutor which can cost more money than public schools. Right facilities are an equally necessary for homeschooling parent must consider. In public schools these facilities are easily available, some of the items which would cost parents lot of money are laboratory equipment, large collection of books in library etc. these
