Group 1 of all females checked their phones about once every two minutes per person. Alternatively, each girl checked their phones about two and three quarters times in five minutes. This group had four girls. This group had a tendency of prolonged phone use. About half of the phone uses were longer than thirty seconds at a time. Also this group often included their phone uses to the other members of the group; for example, a girl would show the others a picture she found on Instagram or tell everyone what text she received. Most of the conversation held was about something seen on one of the girl’s phones. Group 2 of all females checked their phones about once every two minutes per person. Or each girl checked their phones about two and a half times in five minutes. This group had two girls. The phone uses were about half quick and half prolonged. A majority of the conversation did not have any relevance to their phones. Group 3 of all females checked their phones about every five minutes per person. Or each girl checked her phone once in the five minutes. This group consisted of two girls. The phone uses were extremely quick and probably checking the time. Their conversation did not mention anything related to their phones. Group 4 of all females checked their phones less than once in five minutes per person.
