Graduation Day One cloudy morning towards the end of May came graduation day; it was an emotional and special day for my parents as their first oldest child would be graduating with great accomplishments in both sports and academics. My family and I were ready to head towards the high school as I am anxiously waiting, I slipped on my gold and rhinestone heels with a dress that had matched beautifully. Leaving my house while my parents drove, they had dropped me off at the front of the school when they had to find a parking. I walked through the double doors at the high school, walking with pride while I had butterflies in my stomach with my classmates as we are anxiously awaiting for the moment to walk across the stage. As we all took selfies with one another and talked before the principal came to guide us through the hallways, we were put in alphabetical order, while we were separated by gender, which we had two lines. Standing in the line patiently waiting as we congratulate one another loudly, our secretary was passing out medals with blue and white school colors. After receiving our awards, we saw our principal coming towards us dressed professionally with black high heels, a gorgeous blue dress with a black shiny belt, and shiny medium length blonde hair that she had curled beautifully, she stands in front of us while we quite down. As bright as it can be she smiled and loudly asked, “Are you ready to walk the line and be graduates for 2014 from Socorro High School,”…
